End Game Deliberations

I was asked to put up comparisons of all the remaining players so here we go:

As you can see I have a hefty lead over all of them now, my ws isn't quite as good as green and my ship count has been diminished after all the pink fights. However my industry and science output are top class right now so time is on my side.

I really have to think about the end game now. Pink is almost gone, we're snapping up the final stars and I've been talking with both green and pink about their loyalties.

The first message is brand new (today) so red tells me he's on my side. He's currently in third place so he needs me to get to second. His other option is fight me with green and who knows where he might end up there.

The second message is a few days old but green did say that he wanted to be second behind me. Whether or not that's true I have no idea. It makes more sense for it to be true from red as he's been the underdog all the way through the game. Besides, green has a much higher ship count.

In an ideal world, I'd come first, and red would come second, so that's my goal.

I have to fortify my borders with green (without letting him know) and be ready to take my final few stars but not before red manages a second place jump. I suppose if I have to I could let red take a few of mine. It'd mean more work for me (to take extra stars) but it'd help with getting him into second place.

So anyway, this weekend, I'm going to move my fleets and get them into position (like I did last with the pink attack).

I hope hope hope that red doesn't screw me up. He's my pal isn't he?
