Hello and welcome to a Neptune's Pride Diary.
My name is Pani and I'm documenting the second game I've played of Neptunes Pride.
If you're not familar with Neptunes Pride, its a real time space strategy game that can take weeks (or months) to finish a single game. But the caveat is that you only log on once or twice a day to make tweaks to your empire. My first game ended with me winning much to my surprise. It was a newcomers free game with 8 people playing. As a lot of free games go, we had 4 people drop out straight away so it was really just a 4 player game. I made sure to have a "buddy" during the game and we concentrated our forces and technology northwards to take our opponents out there. I moved faster than him and grabbed a "stealth" win by pushing hard and very fast, up and across.
This new game looks a lot more interesting which I'd detail in my next post.
